on March 14, 2023, Lynn Bremermann of Sun City Center, Florida passed away at 80 years of age. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, friend and wife. Born to Dorothy and William Porter of Harrison, New York, Lynn was the oldest of their three daughters. She attended Harrison High School and graduated with High Honors in recognition of her artistic abilities. Lynn went on to attend beautician school and was a hairstylist in Rye, NY for a short time in her early life. She married Richard Cuddy from Port Chester, NY in 1963 and had three children with him. In 1986, she married George Bremermann from West Islip, NY. They built a house together in Beach Lake, PA where they resided until they moved to Sun City Center, Florida in 2001.
Lynn was best known for her kindness, determination, patience and feisty spirit. She loved to travel but her passion was her art. Throughout all her life's journey, it was her art that always brought her such great joy. She was so very happy to see that her abilities were passed on to her children and grandchildren. She was always so grateful to be a part of the King's Point Art League in Sun City Center and to share her life's purpose with so many others. Through her years involved in the art league, many of her works of art achieved awards. In fact, her last picture submitted before her passing was awarded first prize. Many friends and colleagues expressed their love of Lynn and how much she gave to them, but it was the Art League that was truly a gift to her.
Lynn was predeceased by her parents, Dorothy and William Porter, sister Melanie Porter, and by the love of her life, George Bremermann. She is survived by her three children, Richard (Tania) Cuddy, Tara (Michael) Wilson both of Connecticut and Michael (Shannan) of Massachusetts. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren; Stephanie (Thomas) Wilson-Fink, Kasey Cuddy, Lauren Wilson, Gillian (Michael) Valentine, Allison Wilson, Jack Cuddy, Drew Cuddy and Matthew Cuddy, two great-grandchildren; Eleanor and Savannah Valentine as well as her sister Dawn (Charlie) Gasperino, many nieces, nephews and loving cousins. Lynn's friends meant so much to her, and her family is grateful for the role they all played in her life.
The family will be having a private memorial service.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Kings Point Art League. Anna Simandl c/o Lynn Bremermann Fund 1243 Lyndhurst Greens Drive Sun City Center, FL 33573
