Marjorie Lucille Boyle was born on September 26, 1942, at Graceville to Timothy and Tracy (Hess) Boyle. She was baptized and confirmed at Colis, Minnesota. She graduated from high school at Herman.Marjorie lived in St. Paul most of her adult life. She worked for 30 years as a secretary for the state of Minnesota at the capital in St. Paul. Marjorie spent the last five years of her life at the nursing home in Appleton where she was treated with respect and loved like one of their own parents. While at the nursing home she made friends with most of the residents and staff. The staff was very good to her and were able to give her "lip back"; which she thoroughly enjoyed.Marjorie died on Saturday afternoon, May 23, at Appleton Area Health Services-Nursing Home. She had attained 66 years, 7 months, and 27 days of age.She is survived by nine brothers and sisters: Eileen Athey of Clinton, Kevin (Jean) Boyle of Crookston, Roger Boyle of Denver, CO, Sharon Dilly of St. Cloud, Tom (Susan) Boyle of Denver, CO, Jim (Julie) Boyle of Alexandria, Richard (Elaine) Boyle of Biloxi, Mississippi, Bonnie (Mike) Owens of Holloway, and Paul (Ann) Boyle of St. Paul; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.She is preceded in death by her parents; and special friend, Jim Palmer.
