Laird, Marjorie S., age 85 of Sun City Center died Thursday, August 16, 2012, at LifePath Hospice House. Marje, a loving wife and mother, is survived by her daughter Ann E. Laird, of Sun City Center; son Richard H. Laird, III and his wife Mary C. Rowe, of Ashland, Virginia; three grandchildren, Rich and his wife Jessica, Chris and his wife Brittany, and Jessica; a great-grandchild, Rorie; a sister, Mary S. Humrich of Evans, Georgia; a brother-in-law Robert H. Laird and his wife Jane of Marco Island, Florida. She graduated from the University of Michigan and was a high school teacher in both Texas and Delaware before moving to Florida from Wilmington, Delaware with her late husband, Richard H Laird, Jr., in 1987. Marje enjoyed her retirement years in Sun City Center and made many good friends. She was an active member of St. Andrew Presbyterian Church, where the memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, August 31, 2012. The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made to LifePath Hospice or St. Andrew Presbyterian Church.
