Maurice Joseph Gaudreau SR July 23, 1937 - Apollo Beach, Florida – Maurice Gaudreau, age 74, of Apollo Beach, Florida passed away after a long courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Fort Kent, Maine, July 23, 1937, the son of Henri and Blanche Thibodeau Gaudreau. He went into the U.S. Navy and served his country from 1954-1958. He worked as a carpenter and belonged to Carpenters Union Local 43, Hartford, CT. He is survived by his two children Christine Bellamo and her husband Alan of Higganum, CT and Maurice Gaudreau JR of Apollo Beach, Florida. He also leaves behind one grandson, Matthew Gaudreau of Hattiesburg, MS and one brother, Louis Godreau and his wife Shirley of Newington, CT. Donations in Maurice's name can be made to the American Cancer Society, 538 Preston Ave, P.O. Box 1004, Meriden, CT 06450-1004. A private burial service will be held at Sea.
