Our beautiful daughter Melissa, born on January 11, 1985 flew on butterfly wings to be with the Lord on Monday morning September 12, 2011 after a battle with Ovarian Cancer. She left many loved ones, family and friends behind, her parents Stephen & Donna her brothers Stephen & Jasen and our Boxer - Bruno. Also, out of state are her sisters Stephanie & Rachel and brother Shawn. She was an aunt, niece, cousin, friend and co-worker. She loved her family, children, animals, butterflies, the color purple and the Florida Gators. She enjoyed reading and was a fan of the TWILIGHT saga (Team Edward). Melissa loved family camping trips to the many Florida Springs. She made one last trip to GINNIE SPRINGS in North Florida on August 20, 2011 a memory her family will cherish forever. Melissa was a beautiful, joyful, outgoing and generous person. She was always there if you needed a shoulder to cry on or someone to talk to, even for hours. She was very creative, loved scrapbooking and she hand made her cards and gifts. Melissa was loved by many and will be truly missed by all who knew her. In celebration of her life there will be a Memorial Service held on Saturday October 1, 2011 from 11am – 1pm at Maranatha Church of God at 55 6th Ave SE Ruskin, FL Pastor Don Tanner
