Michael Alan Groves, 57, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 28th 2019. He was preceded by his father Reverend Norman Groves. He is survived by his daughter Ashton Groves, his mother Marie Groves, his older sister Melody Johnson and younger sister Sharon Rochefort. Other surviving family members are his niece Brittany and husband Brian Jones, his bothers-in-law Joseph Johnson III and Steven Rochefort, his former wife Cynthia Shepherd, and companion Claritza Borges.

Michael graduated from East Bay High School, was the owner of Apollo Carpet Cleaning and has been a resident of Apollo Beach since 1966. He was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday the 11th of August at 3pm at the SeaGlass Church on Flamingo Dr. in Apollo Beach, Florida.
