Michael A. Russ "Bubba" 44 Born April 17, 1965 left this world to be with Jesus on March 12, 2010. He grew up in Apollo Beach and made Ruskin his home. He loved his job and co-workers at Hillsborough County Public Works Dept. South Service Unit 3 where he worked for 25 yrs. He enjoyed shooting pool, playing cards and BBQing. He shared his passion of fishing with family and friends of all ages. Bubba loved life and wanted every kid to experience the simple joys of life-picnics, parks, fishing or just roasting marshmallows. He is survived by his loving mother, Marcia Nielsen; brother , Thomas Russ; sister, Ramona and Scott Sylvis, sister, Jill and Paul Lamy; Nieces and Nephew, Leah, Brittany, Hannah, Michael and Haylie.(all of which he adored) "His Boys", Justin & Jeremy, grandpa Joe, dear friends and extended family. Special in his heart were his "little fishing buddies" throughout the years, some of which have grown into fine young men. He was a big guy with a HUGE heart.
