Miriam Kearns-Robnolte, age 90 yrs.,
of Riverview, Florida passed away early
Thursday morning, November 5th, 2015 at
Hospice House in Sun City Center, Florida.
She was born at home on September 21st, 1925
to Ralph Hazen and May (Umfleet) Hazen
who resided on Copus Hill, a picturesque rural area
near the village of Mifflin, Ashland County, Ohio.
She resided in Mifflin and for a time in Mansfield, Ohio
until she moved, with her daughter Bobbi, to Florida in 1991.
She attended Mifflin Village Elementary School.
Over the years she worked mostly in the restaurant and hospitality industries.
Her first Ohio ancestor, Harrison Hazen,
was born in the same area of Ohio in 1816.
She was preceded in death by her parents;
two older brothers: Alvy and Lawrence Hazen
and their wives; an older sister, Mary Bittinger and her husband;
her granddaughter Delores Grogg; Miriam's own husband Porter Park Robnolte,
and by her younger daughter Roberta "Bobbi" Oberholtzer Jones,
who passed in the same Hospice House only a few short months ago.
She is survived by a granddaughter:
Amanda (John) Barkley, a grandson: Dylan Barkley,
and a daughter Sandra (Ray) Grogg of Marion Ohio,
and Toni Sharrock, Teri (Danny) Howard, Richard (Jennifer) Grogg,
Brent (Kim) Grogg, grandchildren Chasity (Jaime) Raines,
Daniel Howard, Rebecca (Michael) Forman, Kelsey Grogg,
Zack Sharrock, and 5 great, great, granddaughters.
Miriam aka Mama, Grandma, GG
was an amazing young lady,
90 never fit on her right.
She will be greatly missed and loved always.
