Obituary

78 of Tampa Florida, loving mother passed away Tuesday March 11th, 2014.She was born September 07th, 1935 in Precious Plain, Manchester, Jamaica, to the late William and Beatrice Davis. On March 5th, 1955 she dedicated her life to serve Jehovah. Pioneered for one year, married and started a family.She immigrated to Stamford, CT in 1981, where she worked for Marriott Hotels as a housekeeper. She moved to Tampa Florida in 1987, where she continued to work as a housekeeper for Marriott Hotels. Later as a Certified Nursing Assistant she worked at the University Community Hospital and then as a Home Health Aide for several agencies.She leaves behind 2 sons and 2 daughters: Michael Brown his wife Sonia, Erica Parris her husband Burnett, Bevington (Morris) Brown, Olga (Andrea) Brown. Two grandchildren: Hillary and Daniel Brown. She also leaves behind 4 sisters; Ethel Bailey, Vira Turner, Daisy Ogle, Edna Willis, and several nieces, nephews and many dear friends. She was predeceased by sisters; Iris Scarlett, Audrey, Gladys, and a brother Uriel.Myrtle may be remembered for her great fondness for gardening. But most dear to her heart was her love for Jehovah, telling people about her Bible based hope, singing kingdom melodies and loving her children.In lieu of flowers donations can be made to WATCHTOWER, 25 Columbia Heights. Brooklyn, NY 11201A Memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, March 22nd, at the Forest Hills Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 11730 N Ola Avenue, Tampa, FL 33612.
