Patrina Mae Wiles (Tina), 63, of Naples, Florida, formerly of Gibsonton, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2025. She was born on December 24, 1961, in Tampa, Florida to James Davis and Yolanda McDonald
Tina was a mother first and foremost. She loved her children, grandchildren, family, and friends more than anything in the world. Throughout her life, she held many roles—working as an administrative assistant and bartender at various establishments, among other titles.
Tina enjoyed the little things that brought her joy: smoking her cigarettes, drinking her Pepsi, watching shark attack and murder documentaries and singing along to her favorite old songs.
She is survived by her children:
• Chadwick Walden of Bushnell, FL
• Danielle Cox and fiancé Jorge Lincheta of Naples, FL
• Brittany Cooney and boyfriend Tyler Wylie of Mansfield, OH
• David Wiles and fiancée Destiny Mooneyham of Gibsonton, FL
She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren: Destiny and Dylan McCalvin of Ashland, KY; Jaydan Rimes of Naples, FL; Isabella Drummond and Jace Wylie of Mansfield, OH; and Logan Walden of Plant City, FL.
Tina leaves behind her siblings:
• Debbie Yeager of Hudson, FL with children Tyesha, Yolanda and Dwayne and many grandchildren
• Gayla Davis and husband Jerry Morton of Riverview, FL
• James Davis and wife Kelly Davis of Riverview, FL with children Natasha and James and grandchildren
Also Lifetime Best Friend Cindy Wallace of Riverview, Florida
She was preceded in death by her brother-in-law Wayne Yeager, her mother Yolanda Duling, father James Davis, and the love of her life, Brian Helmick as well as many other loved ones.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at:
The River's Edge Bar and Grill at 6226 Ohio Ave, Gibsonton, FL 33534.
Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
The celebration will continue afterward at her sister Gayla's home:
12306 Shelby Dr., Riverview, FL 33579
