Raymond T. Byron Sr., aged 82, passed away on October 25, 2025, in Ruskin, FL. Born on
January 3, 1942.
Raymond dedicated over five decades of his life to Local 24 Carpenter/Millwright, showcasing his commitment and craftsmanship in the field. Raymond leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Marcia (Norman) Byron of Ruskin, FL; his son Raymond and wife Danielle, along with their daughters Gabriella and Guilianna of Southington, CT; and his
daughter Rena Byron of Riverview, FL. He also leaves his sister Joan DiGoia and his brother
James and wife Kim Byron, all of Wolcott, CT, as well as many adored nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Gertrude (Jones) Byron, and brothers
Joseph, John, and Thomas Byron.
A man of many interests, Raymond was a lifelong member of Wolcott Landowners, Bristol Fish
& Game in Connecticut, and Silver Dollar Shooting Club in Odessa, FL. His passion for trap
shooting led him to win numerous awards and trophies, marking his skill and dedication to the
sport.
Raymond's life and contributions will be dearly missed and forever remembered by his family,
friends, and community.
