Richard Parry Henry 89 passed away to be with the Lord on March 24th.
He is predeceased by his mother Mary C Reed Henry, his father Millard E Henry II and his brother Millard E Henry III (Uncle Red). Also, his 1st wife Carolyn Sue Myers Henry and his 2nd wife Millie Henry.
He is survived by his 6 children: Daughter Charlotte Clark (Alan), Son's Richard Henry (Vivian) John Henry, Joshua Henry, Joseph Henry (Deborah) and James Henry (Christina). He had 11 Grandchildren: Adrienne Clark, Austin Clark (Alyssa), Charlene Jones (Jay), Matthew Henry, Garen Henry (Michelle), Joshua Kaleb Henry, Alyssa Henry Lape (Damian) Alexis Henry (Anthony), James T Henry, Jaden Henry, Jordan Henry. And 7 Great Grandchildren: Bear LaRue Clark, Rylee Mae Clark, Destiny Turner (Colin), Brady Jones, Wyatt Henry, Nora Henry and Jaxson Henry. And 3 Great, Great Grandchildren, Lincoln Turner and twins Aiden and Grayson Turner.
He was a hardworking man who did whatever he needed to do to provide for his family. Working overtime and/or a 2nd job. He served our country in the Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was a 2nd class Perry officer and earned Good Conduct & Sharpshooter. He was a Master Pipe fitter and worked at US Phosphoric which is now Mosaic, then continued his trade with the Pipe Fitters Union working on larger projects at Power Plants throughout the country.
His father was a 33rd degree Mason and at 79 years old Richard earned his apron working to follow in his father's footsteps. He was a disciple of Christ and worked very hard at studying the Bible and strived to walk the walk and be an example for others to follow.
Private family service and interment will be at the National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida. Family will receive friends at the home of The Clark's in Gibsonton for a Celebration of Life-Open House in the afternoon 3:45-6pm on 4/9/26.
