Rita Hahn passed away in her home on January 26, 2023, in Ruskin, Florida. She was born on November 9, 1939, in Joliet, Illinois, the daughter of Ed and Rita Burns.

Rita lived life with passion. She enjoyed golfing, played bridge, MahJong, and other card games with her valued Riverside friends.

Rita was preceded in death by her husband, Irvin, in 2013 and her son, Robert in 1967. She is survived by two sons, Dan (Lisa) Hahn and Tim (Lora) Hahn, a daughter, Terri (Terry) Hutchison, eight grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Sue (Tom) Slingsby, and two brothers John (Mary) and Bill (Linda) Burns.

A funeral service will be held for friends and family at St Anne's in Ruskin on February 3, 2023, at 1:30 p.m. A reception will follow at Riverside Club at 3:00 p.m.

Rita Hahn will be remembered as a fun-loving, open-hearted powerhouse who lived her life to the fullest, and was loved and cherished by her family and friends.
