HEWITT, Robert Sherman, 93, died July 9, 2009. He is a graduate of Perdue University, Electrical Engineering 1938, Manager Research and Development of digital recorder manufacturer, manager Fordel Films and Swift Motion Pictures. He worked twenty one years with worldwide news organizations as editor, writer, photographer, Cinematographer and Producer, was owner, manager of full service travel agency, operated Bob Hewitt Yacht Sales where he delivered yachts up and down the Atlantic Seaboard with a Coast Guard Master's Certificate. He also set up radio coverage of manned space programs over its initial two years. In recent years he was active in the Computer Club of Sun City Center as well as the Barbershop Singers, a member of First Baptist Church, New York June 11, 1916 to July 9, 2009. He is survived by sons, Keith and Scott; five grandsons, Chris, Matt, Kenny, Eric and Greg. Services will be private. Zipperer's Funeral Home
