Robert Coe Parsons of Tampa, Fl.
Passed away on Dec 25, 2015 at
Moffitt Cancer Center after a long battle with cancer.
Born on July 31, 1948 to Robert C. Parsons
and Selma B. Thomsen in Winsted, Ct.

Robert is survived by his wife Lona M. (Campbell) Parsons;
a son, Robert L. Parsons and wife Brandy of New Windsor, NY;
a daughter, Amy L. Parsons-Ng and husband Richmond of Branford, Ct.;
three granddaughters, Brittany, Emma and Ella;
three grandsons, Zachary, Ethan and Eli; and one great-grandsons, TJ(Travis);
one brother, Paul Parsons of Sandisfield, MA;
eight sisters, Nancy Moulthrop, Selma Parsons, Diane Archer,
Cindy Parsons and Agnes Parsons all of Winsted, Ct.,
Peggy Stickney of Iron Station, NC, and Janet Parsons and
Betsy Parsons of Pinellas Park, FL.
He was pre-deceased by brothers, Jack Parsons,
Kurt Parsons, and Leon Parsons and sister, Elna Parsons.
He leaves behind several nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Robert was a Vietnam Veteran having served
4 years in the United States Marine Corps and
later retiring, after 17 years, from the Connecticut Army National Guard.
Rob was very proud of his military service and
almost never seen without a service connected ball cap on his head.
He was a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 296 in Winsted, CT.,
AMVETS Post 44 in Brandon, FL and a member of
The American Legion Post 28 in New Hartford, Ct.
After moving to Tampa he devoted many hours
volunteering to support the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10140 in Tampa, Fl.
Robert retired from Becton-Dickinson Manufacturing Company in Canaan, CT.
after 25 years of service as a Molding Production Technician.

There are no calling hours or
funeral per family request.

A celebration of life will be held in Tampa
and in Winsted, CT at a date to be determined.
