Ronald Hellmut Anton Schuetze, beloved father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on October 21, 2023, at the age of 78 in Tampa, Florida. He was born on November 16, 1944, to Antoinette (Schmidt) and Hellmut Schuetze in New York City, New York. Ron was an Air Force Veteran and served his country with honor and dedication.
Ronald was a man of many passions and talents. He was an avid listener of the AM radio and enjoyed staying up to date on current events and politics. He also loved spending time in nature, hiking, and exploring the beauty of the world around him. In his free time, he could often be found cooking, watercolor painting, or engrossed in a good book.
Professionally, Ronald was enjoying his retirement but was an accomplished electrical engineer. He had a brilliant mind and was always eager to take on new challenges and solve complex problems. His dedication and hard work earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues.
Ron will be deeply missed by his surviving family members, including his daughters, Allison Schuetze and Kelly Schuetze; son, Ronald J. Schuetze; step-daughter, Dawn Harris;, and his grandchildren, Ryleigh Sadler, Cameron Harris, Kait Schuetze, Tyler Schuetze (Kasey), Annika Robertson, and John Harris. He also leaves behind a great-grandson, Kai Brooks. He was preceded in death by his mother, Antoinette, father, Hellmut, and his faithful dog and best friend, Reba.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association in Ron's name. Ronald will be remembered for his kind heart, sharp wit, and unwavering love for his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
