Sandy was born Sandra Marie Priolette in Syracuse, NY to Anthony J. Priolette and Virginia Antonacci; both are deceased. Her most important life role was being a loving and devoted mother to her sons, Michael A. Mevoli and Mark A. Mevoli. Additionally, she was a successful businesswoman with a beautiful smile and engaging personality that made anyone who met her love her and always remember her. Sandy passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 3, 2025.
Sandy was predeceased by her sister Sylvia Petrosillo. Sandy is survived her husband of more then 44 years Robert (Bob) M. Hoke, brother-in-law Nick Petrosillo, nephew John Petrosillo and partner Tim Mortimore, daughter-in-law Jennie Mevoli, grandson Anthony J. Mevoli and her beloved "personal stalker" Bella, an 8 pound Pomeranian.
Sandy applied her strong, independent, and loving personality to her successful careers in corporate and small business owner professions. She was one of a few females in a male dominated services organization at Digital Equipment Corporation and then received support from the SBA as a female business owner/operator of 2 Child Day Care Centers that she built from the ground up.
In her personal life she enjoyed cooking traditional Italian meals and other exotic cuisines for family and loved ones, gardening and landscaping around her homes, loving and spoiling her dogs, and traveling in the U.S. and Europe.
Sandy will be deeply missed by her family and loved ones and all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, the family asked that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in her honor.
