Tammy Lenet McElwain, 50, went Home to be with her Maker on October 24, 2011.
Born September 17, 1961 in Tampa, to Bernard and Judith McElwain, she attended East Bay Senior High School and graduated from Tampa College, having earned an Associate's Degree. Tammy will be especially remembered for her giving nature, endless love and unbreakable spirit. She was a lifelong resident of Ruskin. She is survived by her father, Bernard McElwain, of Ruskin; two daughters and two sons-in-law, Heather & Robby Parsons, of Gibsonton and Tamara & Scotty Hinkle, of Irvington, KY; two grand-daughters, Kristen Hinkle and Lily Hinkle, both of Irvington, KY; three brothers, Mark McElwain, of Ruskin, Matthew McElwain, of Bowling Green, and Michael & Kelli McElwain of Apollo Beach; two nieces and two nephews, Justin McElwain, Ashley Whitaker, Alyssa McElwain and Zachary McElwain. Tammy is preceded in death by her beloved mother, Judith McElwain.

Internment services will be held at Ruskin Memorial Park on Thursday, October 27, 2011 at 2:30 p.m. Services will be officiated by Brother Don Tanner of Maranatha Church of God, Ruskin. A reception will be held following services at the home of Mr. & Mrs. Kenneth McElwain.
