Thomas James "Jim" Crossley Sr, 83, of Sun City Center, died Sunday October 30 at Lifepath Hospice.
He was born to the late Maurice and May Crossley, on May 10, 1928 in Oshawa, Ontario Canada. Jim graduated from the University of Detroit in Chemical Engineering and received his MBA from the University of South Carolina. He lived many places in the US and Canada before relocating to Sun City Center in 2000.
Jim had a servant heart and was an active member of the United Methodist Church and was a board member of Good Samaritan Mission. He was an avid sailor, glider pilot, and musician, loved to travel, and visited 22 different countries, including volunteer teaching for 3 years at Africa University in Zimbabwe.
Jim is survived by Eleanor, his loving wife of 56 years and four children: Tom (Pat) Crossley of Littleton, CO, Cathi (Rob) Chlebnikow of Lake Oswego, OR, Judy (Rick) Holmlund of Wimauma, FL and Wil (Vanessa) Crossley of Frederick, CO. His four grandchildren Rachel, Seth, Aiden and Lainey will miss him dearly.

A service to celebrate his life will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov 6 at the United Methodist Church in Sun City Center.
