Born 4/4/1939, in Tampa, FL. Died 6/18/2025, in Riverview, FL. He was married to Dianne Gail Grate for 60 years. He was the father of Tommy (Thomas Vincent Rossell Jr.) and Amy (sp.Scott Thomas). He was the grandfather of Grace, Diana (sp.Chad Crawford), Josiah (sp.Mercy Beatty), Wesley (sp.Lexi Bradfield), Bethany (sp.Stephen Smalley), Andrew (sp.Samantha Maher), Jesse and Kate. He was the great grandfather to Emma, Elsie, Charlie, Edmund, Robert, Oliver, Harry, Juliet & Val. He was brother to Richard Rossell, and Roy Rossell (sp.Lillian).
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Freda Rossell, sister Gloria Heberling,
brother Norman Rossell and son Tommy Rossell.
He was the husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, cousin, friend and follower of
JESUS, who was always there for us. He worked for PanAm in the Apollo Space program.
After graduating from UF with a BS in mechanical engineering, he helped build the first Ocean
Simulation facility in the states in Panama City, worked at TECO and the mines, before finishing
up working as a Master Handyman. He always had ideas in his head, inventions done, used
and in the process, hands working to help others or making special gifts for them. He
engineered and built his home. He had plenty of wit, practical teaching and help for life and
work for his children and grandchildren. He was filled with music: singing in high school, the
paid Choir of Palm Beach, the churches he was a member of, and finished with the First
Baptist Brandon Silvertones. He literally had a song to sing at home, church, work… and in the
hospital to the nurses to the very end. "Papa" loved and was loved!
