Tommy Gene Wardlow, 85, of Sun City Center, FL passed away at a Sun City Center, Hospice Facility after a long illness.
He was a highly- decorated career Air Force Pilot, Vietnam War Veteran, and retired as a Lt. Colonel after twenty years of service. When he retired a second time he and his wife moved to Sun City Center, FL.
Tommy lived and loved life fully. He adored his wife Elaine and loved playing bridge, golf, dancing, bowling, boating, waterskiing, bungee jumping, and traveling.
In addition to his wife Elaine he is survived by his son Tom Wardlow and his wife Devoni of Montgomery, TX, His son Michael Wardlow of Granbury, TX, daughter Susan Manor and her husband, Scott Manor, two step daughters, Daphne Barnes and her husband Charles Barnes of Parker, CO, Tammy Freeman and her husband Philip Freeman of Parker, CO, Four grandchildren, Danny Wardlow and his wife Chelsea, TJ Wardlow and his wife Gaby, Ryan Manor, and Blake Manor. He also had three stepsons, Alex Barnes, Brayden Freeman and Jack Freeman, five great grandchildren, Amberly Wardlow, David Wardlow, Tanis Manor, Rhiannon Manor, and Rowan Manor.
Tommy will be interred at Sarasota National Cemetery, Sarasota, FL with full Military honors following a private family service.
