Obituary

Tony C. Munar, born April 11, 1950, in Honolulu, Hawaii, passed away Monday, January 27, 2020, at the age of 69.

He lived a full and colorful life working with people he loved, traveling the state and the world and touching so many people along his journeys. He served as a tank mechanic in the Vietnam War from July 1969 until November 1971.

After fighting cancer with the same vigor in which he did everything in his life, Tony passed away peacefully into God's arms surrounded by many friends and family. He is survived by his wife, Nancy; daughter, Tiana Feekin; son, Rob Munar; grandchildren: Kainoa, Tate, Anaia, Velzy, and Makena; a loving sister, Cynthia Pierson and her family; and an uncle, Carl Saffery and his family.

He will be greatly missed and is a man that will never be forgotten by those who had the privilege to have known him. He will be laid to rest and a service will take place at a later date at Bay Pines National Cemetery in St. Petersburg, Florida.
