Vera Mae Peterson (Faulk), 90, of Ruskin, Florida, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2024. She was born on January 3, 1934, in Alabama. Vera dedicated over 30 years of her life to serving as a bus driver in the Ruskin Area for Ruskin Elementary, East Bay High, and Eisenhower schools.

She is survived by her six children: Janice Gay, Ronald Peterson, Tim Peterson, Daphne Cooper, Scott Lane, and April Allard.

A Grave Side Service will be held by Zippers Funeral Home on April 5th at 11am at Ruskin Cemetery (Ruskin Memorial Park, 204 Manatee Dr., Ruskin, FL 33570).

Vera's commitment to safely transporting students throughout her career as a bus driver left a lasting impact on the community she served. Zippers Funeral Home in Ruskin, Florida, is assisting with the arrangements for Vera's passing.
