Victoria "Viki" Lynn Yavorcik, 48,
passed away at Life Path Hospice in
Sun City Center, Florida on March 1, 2016
following a three-year struggle with cancer.
Viki was born in Youngstown, Ohio on March 17, 1967.
She grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio and lived there most
of her life until moving to Sun City Center five years ago.
Viki had many talents. She loved horses and worked at Equisports Inc.
and as a barn manager for Teal Lakes Farm in Batavia, Ohio.
Her sales skills were superb and led her to employment
with an auction company, Semple and Associates.
She later carried those skills to self-employment,
selling lucratively on E-Bay.
She worked as a hairdresser at Mt. Washington Care Center
and as an office manager at Tampa Bay Area Infectious Disease Associates.
She was a computer whiz and could fix just
about any computer problem family and friends brought to her.
Among her passions were her great love of animals,
the beach and anything ocean, shopping thrift
stores anytime and anywhere, gardening with
unusual plants and edible ones too, and cooking
her specialty dishes. And she especially loved
just kicking back at home with her beloved cat Googles.
Viki is survived by her mother Sandra Ross Yavorcik,
step-father Edwin Klein, daughter Quinn Yavorcik, aunt
Myra Ross Musick, uncle Steve Musick, and
cousins Seth Musick (Kate and Emma), Nathan Musick (Amanda and Aaron),
and Justen and Liz Musick, and her very dear friend Amanda Rust.
Viki was preceded in death by her
father Jerry Yavorcik and sister Cherie Marie Yavorcik.
"Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass.
It's about learning to dance in the rain."
Our Viki would ask that you take a walk on the beach,
look up at the stars, smell a blooming rose,
or hug your furry pet and think of her.
A memorial service will be held at
Prince of Peace Catholic Church,
Sun City Center, Florida on
March 17 at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers,
the family asks that memorial donations be made to
C.A.R.E. Critter Adoption and Rescue Effort Inc., Ruskin, Florida,
a no-kill animal shelter for neglected, abused and
unwanted cats and dogs at
www.careshelter.org
The family would like to thank the kindness
of Sun City Center Hospice House.
