Obituary
Violet Acosta, 90, native of Tampa, passed away August 20, 2018. She is survived by her daughter, Lorraine Evans (J.L.); two grandchildren, Jay Evans (Christie), and Vivian Evans; 3 great-grandchildren, Ty, Jaelyn, and Jocelyn Evans; niece, Celinda Saladino (Vincent); grandnephew, Steven Saladino; grandniece, Stephanie Musick; and extended family.
Violet was a retired cigar factory worker in Ybor City and West Tampa. In her younger years, her passion was dancing at Centro Asturiano, the Cuban Club, and the German Club. Violet will be buried at Bushnell Florida National Cemetery.
