Obituary

It is with sadness that the family of
Virginia (Ginny) Winslow conveys her passing.

She died peacefully at the "Life Path Hospice" in
Ruskin, Florida, on March 29, 2015, at the age of 89.

Ginny is survived by her husband
of 68 years, Richard (Dick) Winslow,
their children; Linda Brookes (husband David), of Parrish, FL,
Richard (Rick) Winslow (wife Karen), of Uxbridge, Ontario, Canada.
Their son, Brian Winslow predeceased her in 1981.

She was also predeceased by her sister,
Joan Blood and her brother, Richard Wiseman.

Ginny was "Nana" to her grandchildren,
Christian Nally (wife Martine Paulin), and
Jon Nally (wife Kerrin), Alex and Emily Winslow.

She was "Nana Ginny" to her great grandchildren,
Jacob, Kaylin and Marissa Nally, and Lili Paulin.

She was Aunt Virginia to Karen,
Katie and Susan Blood.
She was also Aunt Virginia to thirteen nieces
and nephews on the Winslow side of the family."

She was born on November 21, 1925, in Worcester, MA.
and moved to Ayer, MA following her father's passing.

There she met her high school sweet heart and future husband.
While raising their family,
Ginny enjoyed her friendships through
many bridge games, which became a lifelong pass time.

Dick and Ginny moved to Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada in 1966,
where they spent 34 years.
Ginny worked as Administrative Secretary in the
Biology Department of the University of New Brunswick.

She derived great enjoyment from baking,
knitting, shopping, and watching her favorite sports teams,
The Red Sox, and The New England Patriots.

Ginny was famous for her brownies and loved
to share them with her family and friends.

She was especially happy when accompanying Dick on their many road trips;
either long adventures or short excursions.
Many of their life's stories involved what happened on these adventures.

Ginny will be remembered for
her love of family, perseverance in
difficult times, quick sense of humor and generosity.
